At On the Road Health we have a range of staff with extensive experience and passion in all areas of Physiotherapy and rehabilitation with a large portion of our clients being > 65 years and/ or living with a disability.

Mobile Services

At On the Road Health our mobile therapists will work with you to achieve your goals.

Our therapists have a wide range of knowledge and experience in both manual therapy and exercise base therapy. This means that we can tailor our treatment to your individual needs helping you get better sooner and stay better.

We can assist with all areas of Physiotherapy such as joint or muscle pain, pre and post surgery, workplace injuries / CTP and functional rehabilitation. We have a many senior clients who we help with loss of balance, falls and post operative rehabilitation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect an an appointment?
  1. Following your enquiry you will be contacted by one of our staff to discuss what services your require and what times are appropriate for you.
  2. Once a Physio has been arranged we will contact you to confirm and answer any questions you may have.
  3. Our Physio will turn up to your preferred address with all equipment necessary, ID badge with business logo and drivers license to be viewed.
  4. Together the Physio and you will organise appointments needed for optimal recovery.
  5. The Physio will not take cash or any form of payment. An invoice will be sent to you following the session with the amount required to pay as previously agreed.
  6. You will be sent receipts following payment for you to claim with your private health fund if applicable.
Are you an approved NDIS provider?

On The Road Physiotherapy is an approved NDIS provider. This means that we can claim funding through your NDIS plan if you are a customer and are eligible for NDIS.

You will need to have already applied and set up your NDIS with your doctor or a plan manager.

At On the Road Physiotherapy we strive for excellence, if you have any feedback, complaints or compliments we would appreciate hearing from you. Please contact us via phone (0424 711 096), email (admin@ontheroadphysiotherapy.com.au) or through our webpage enquiry form.

If you wish to remain Anonymous please send a letter to 36 Serpentine Rd Gymea NSW 2227 detailing the following information: Nature of the letter and details relating to the matter, persons involved, date relevant to matter being discussed (if appropriate), action taken (if any), action that you would like to be taken (if appropriate), date letter was completed.

If you wish to take the matter directly to the commission this can be done by going to the NDIS Commission webpage as displayed below and clicking on the ‘make a complaint’ tab on the top right hand side of the page. You can also contact them by phone on 1800 035 544.

Are you able to bill as part of my home care package

Yes. Physiotheapy can be funded as part of your home care package as long as your assessed category allows. This is generally level 3 and 4 aged care packages.

We work closely with many aged care providers and would be happy to work with your provider. Just get in touch and we will be happy to help.

What does a private appointment cost?

Due to the travelling nature of our business prices may vary. Please get in touch to get an accurate quote.

Payment is accepted via cash or bank transfer. Invoices can be issued as required and receipts are provided following payment for all consultations.

Is physio covered by private health insurance?
All of our services are able to be claimed through private health insurance. We also accept clients on other insurance based schemes such as Workers Compensation, CTP and NDIS. We accept DVA and EPC referrals but there is a small gap with EPC plans.
Do I need a referral?
No. You do not need a referral. Physiotherapists are primary health practitioners meaning that we are often the first point of contact following an injury. We will perform a thorough assessment and inform you if we can help or if we need to refer you onto another health practitioner for better management. Just give us a call and we will assist you on your journey to recovery.
